Shirt Project #1
A most intriguing request: After my client’s husband passed away, she wished for a tribute to him, created from his 80+ collared shirts that they had collected on their travels. I made 19 pieces in all. The largest was for her own collection, and the others were to go to family, friends and clients. She specified that I was to use fabric from three particular shirts in each piece. Except for a few, she did not specify any particular theme. It was a glorious project, one of my favourites!
